In the later hours of the morning, Californians were seen abandoning their café lattes, computer screens, and those uncomfortable wooden coffee shop chairs. As they dashed to the fingerprint imprinted glass doors, an expression of awe came over their faces. Reflections of white marble-like pellets of frozen rain glossed over their eyes though they did not stay for long. The rain transitioned out, like the people.
